{"id":1464,"date":"2024-11-05T20:48:52","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T20:48:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ehp2.com\/?p=1464"},"modified":"2024-11-05T20:48:53","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T20:48:53","slug":"avancee-majeure-pour-laviation-hydrogene-et-la-decarbonation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ehp2.com\/en\/avancee-majeure-pour-laviation-hydrogene-et-la-decarbonation\/","title":{"rendered":"Major Breakthrough for Hydrogen Aviation and Decarbonization!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The EICLHAIR consortium <strong>EICLHAIR<\/strong> bringing together EHP2, DTC, and I-SEE <strong>EHP2<\/strong>, <strong>DTC<\/strong>, et <strong>I-SEE<\/strong> has been awarded state funding under <strong>the France 2030 Call for Projects: Producing Low-Carbon Aircraft in France.<\/strong>The consortium has reached a critical milestone with the <strong>completion of the<\/strong> <strong>detailed design phase<\/strong> for the development of a <strong>hybrid internal combustion H2 engine<sub>2<\/sub> with cryogenic storage, integrated into the airframe of a light aircraft, the IC-10.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This innovation represents a giant leap towards more sustainable aviation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 <strong>Our Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>H2 Hybrid Engine:<sub>2<\/sub> <\/strong>Designed from scratch by EHP2, <strong>our internal combustion engine delivers 200 kW<\/strong> for a mass of 80 kg with an efficiency of nearly <strong>45% during cruising<\/strong> fully decarbonized and pollutant-free.
